I'd never heard of pickling metal before (only eggs and veggies) Smiling. I had to look it up.

Why did you go with the 10% KOH solution as opposed to the 28% (by weight) that seems to be the standard?

When cleaning, a strong

When cleaning, a strong solution is not necessary, especially when using an ultrasonic cleaner. The conditioning solution was the defacto standard.
