New Way to Enter Electrolyzer Test Data

List of New stuff

  • Individual Test Data pages for collecting data - Allows for more precise data collection. This should help out the whole electrolyzer community.
  • Ability to Clone Test Data sheets - Makes it so you dont have to type the same data out, over and over again.
  • Table display of test data pages on electrolyzer pages - Easily referenced test pages.

Quick Descriptions

I finally implemented the new way to post your electrolyzer test data. It allows you to post information for each individual test. This was requested in the forums so here you go!

To see what I mean, check out my test electrolyzer here. At the bottom you will see a table with some info about the different tests. Each test I only changed 1 thing about booster (ie electrolyzer, plate number, etc..)

I have also implemented a "clone" feature. This will make it so that you don't have to re-type in all the test data from your previous tests. Most of the time you only change 1 or 2 variables (plate numbers, electrolytes, amps, etc) so why would you want to retype everything.

Trying it out

To try this out, create some test data by going to "Create Content" (left side bar, you must be logged in to see it), then click "Electrolyzer Test Data." After you create your first "test data" page, you will be able to clone that sheet. All this info will appear below the referenced electrolyzer (you must already have an electrolyzer created to create a test data page.

Help

Please help me in testing out and if you have any problems let me know. This was a great suggestion everyone had and I am sorry it took me so long to get it implemented.

This is going to be nice!

I'm just finishing up my new Prometheus 7 cell series and will begin bench testing in the next couple of days. The calculator tells me that at 100% Faraday efficiency, with 15 amps and 13.8 volts at 32 F., it should produce 1097 milliliters per minute with an MMW of 5.29, but we'll see. I hope it will draw that many amps. I've added quite a bit more metal to the core...so, maybe...

Let me know

Hey Nick,

If you start using the form and there is something else you want to add... let me know (that reminds me... I need to add a date field...). Same with the table that shows up on the electrolyzer page, I can add anything that is in the test data form.

Edit 11-25-08: I just added testing date, start time, and end time to the form. I should have had those on there in the first place.
