It takes being vulnerable to admit a mistake. I am not one that likes criticism, although I'll ask you to do so.
My post here is for a place to share our ideas, that once experimented, failed. You had an idea that had merit. It could be the key to unlocking a simple solution to fixing the problem we face with the war between the researcher (you and I, or is it me?) and the ECU. Myself, I am seeking an easy way to be able to install and tune a modern, ECU controlled fossil fuel burning vehicle. I spend about 95% of an install on tuning. That is ridiculous. If Congress were to mandate that vehicles sold in the USA must have provision to be able to install a HAFC (aftermarket) and the ECU would be able to "switch" to this operational mode, this phenomenon would catch on and be a success rapidly. The cost is so high because of the tuning, that there is a point where the buy-in cost is not worth the savings, or so the consumer thinks.
I have spent much in dollars and time. The past two years I have been in a position where I have had the available time to devote myself to this full time. Many of you, I assume, are doing your thing on the side; weekend and nights; hardly enough time to devote what you would like. I have drawn conclusions on scientific fact. Some things cannot be explained, but they work.
Finally, I concluded that it would be faster and cheaper to support one or two manufacturers' products, installing only their product(s). Obviously, I would still need to remain very active in my search for perfection. This would make me more cost effective as I am starting this as a business. My past business that lasted 34+ years, was dying. This was originally not by choice, but was the result of stumbling on to the HHO concept and being consumed by it. Drove my wife nuts too, as I'll bet most relate to this.
So my brothers and sisters in the bond, so-to-speak, I first wish everyone the greatest luck and success in your endeavors; secondly I hope that somehow, a post here from someone who spent time on research, will save one or many, from wasting their time. I do this in the interest of accelerating our collective and individual progress.
Waste of time...
Early on, while in Wet Cell & High Amperage land, I had the idea to incorporate two separate cells and a bubbler/cleanser into one neat Acrylic package. I would have my SS Electrical blank cover plate cells on either side, and then have the center be a common bubbler. I was installing my unit in an area that had specific maximum size restrictions, and the thickness was so critical that I needed to split up the plates. I had fabricated Corian (R) for over 25 years and had the equipment to work with the clear Lexan (R) that I was using. I must have spent a full week of man hours making this thing. I had bronze wool, magnetically aligned electrodes, check valves and all! Well, I was showing my wife all those tiny bubbles and how if I leaned the unit the production seemed to jump into full gear as the bubbles rolled off the electrodes. Not realizing that the connections of the electronics were so critical that a tiny movement could cause a microscopic spark; must have been the problem, because that cell blew up in my hands. Man I almost, ... well you get the idea. It split the welded case like a banana. Thank God that I had built the Plastic portion like a brick $*** house, as the force was spent on the case, and not me. I had every piece fixed by a "dado" into the case sides which gives 50% more glue surface area and strength.
MY MISTAKES:(1) I had not checked the tightness of the electrical connections, causing the spark for the implosion
(2) The design of incorporating the bubbler causes a further "storage" of the gases produced. Overall, I had three times the storage in one place, whereas if I had the three separate units (2 cells and 1 bubbler), if a spark were to occur, it would be in that single unit, and not all three (check valves between).
Hope this is clear and saves someone from a waste of time.
I moved on to "Dry" cells right after this.
Low Amperage is the key 4 me...

Don't have enough money to buy a building? Worry not, just because that's possible to receive the mortgage loans to solve such kind of problems. Therefore take a small business loan to buy everything you require.
