I will be editing and updating this blog post as plans progress. For now, here is a map to the initial proposed rally site for Labor Day Weekend, September, 4th, 5th, 6th & 7th, 2009. Notice there is swimming, fishing, boating, camping and golf within walking distance. There is also a wide selection of motels and restaurants within close proximity. Also, the satellite photo's are not accurate. All roads and parking lots have new pavement as part of the multi-millions of dollars worth of renovations, new construction and upgrades to the area that have been completed. I'm going to try and take a run down there and get some video to post.

Good stuff
Good idea having a continual blog post about it.
p.s. your map was loading VERY slow and was timing out once in a while so I re-did it for you.
Peter
Thanks, Peter!
It seems to be working better.
No problem
I just used googles embed tool. Works pretty slick.
Entertainment
I think I have my cousin, Ladd Smith, talked into performing at the rally, if he isn't booked, for free. For a few hundred bucks, he will mark it down in stone, but I'm not willing to spring for that...yet...even though he is worth every penny of it. He is a singer/songwriter/guitar virtuoso/studio musician hangin' with the big dogs and living in Nashville.
Here is a video I ripped from an instructional CD ROM he just finished making and left me yesterday:
I added a little Aquauto flare to the player. LOL ;)
